serving students kindergarten through fifth grade. The core of our

There are four middle school facilities serving the Charlotte
County area. All four schools offer an intensive core-curriculum
program with a variety of well-designed elective offerings. Programs
in Exceptional Student Education and remediation for students in

Charlotte County’s high school curriculum provides both
generalized and specialized education experiences, preparing
students for the post graduate endeavor of their choice. Extensive
course offerings are available from basic to advanced levels.
Advanced Placement programs give students the opportunity to take
college-level courses. Dual enrollment opportunities are available to
Florida SouthWestern State College and the State College of Florida,
as well as through the Charlotte Technical College.

Lifelong Learning Institute continues its affiliation with Florida
SouthWestern State College’s Charlotte campus. Their mission is
to foster interest in continuing education among adults, to offer
quality classes and programs in a campus atmosphere in the arts,
humanities, natural sciences, personal finance and technology, as
well as providing a variety of educational opportunities outside the

Charter Schools
Crossroads Hope Academy is an environmentally based Charter
school in Northeast Charlotte County serving difficult to place foster

Florida SouthWestern Collegiate High School is located on the
Charlotte Campus of Florida SouthWestern State College. FSWCCharlotte
