What are Friday nights like? Friday nights are
stressful and busy but most of all they are so fun!
Fridays are the best days of the week because I get to
cheer for the best football team around. We are all a
family and Friday nights bring our whole community
together.

David Rolland ’2020
Activity: Marching Band Position: High brass captain
What are Friday nights like? I’m either busy with a
football game and performing for the halftime show,
going to an away game, or doing stadium rehearsals
and if none of those, I’m practicing for my lesson
next week.
Favorite Subject: Science (but if we’re talking about
just any class, it’s got to be foods)
Favorite Teacher: Mr. Parris, the band teacher,
because he’s helped me in class through the four years
I’ve been in high school and made me a better player as
well as a better person.
Favorite Movie: Star Wars the Return of the Jedi.
Favorite Book: Life of Pi
Favorite food: Macaroni and Cheese the way my great
grandma made it
I have great admiration for: My father and mother,
John and Jenny Rolland. They have been the best
parents anyone could ask for and they have raised
me to be the person I am today and encouraged me
throughout my life, especially my music career.
If you had to be stranded on an island with one
person, who would that be? My brother, Joey
Rolland, because we were both Boy Scouts of America
and we could live in comfort on an island.
Future Plans: To go to college and major in both
music education and music performance.
