As I sit here and write this the day after Saturday night’s Pirates Fest, I feel so…
well, hungover. But I want to take a moment and just say we really do live in the
best place ever! What a great time that was and I want to do a shout-out to all
of the volunteers that worked the gate, the bars, the t-shirt booth, the wristband
booth, as well as to Jenny Orr, Christy Alan, Charissa Murray and countless
others that literally busted their asses (Betsey Jenkins, Anne Delaney) getting
this shindig up and running! Also, a thank you to all the sponsors, especially
United Distributors. The bands were all awesome, but Great White was so good
that I transformed back into my 16-year-old self with fake I.D. in hand! Rock me
they did!
Off we go into November, which means Thanksgiving!! My favorite holiday ever!
Food with food and sides of food with food!! Yippee!! Oh, and it’s also time to be
thankful for everything you have. Well, and everything you don’t have. Sometimes,
that’s a good thing. So, take a moment and just be grateful!
This month’s Traveling Beachcomber Winner goes to the hardest working guy I
have ever seen: Chris Piotrowski totally represented at the Chivalry Renaissance
Fair last year in Las Vegas!! Thank you, Chris for taking us with you and no one
deserves a trip to A-J’s more than you!
