Mission. This past year, ZOA hosted an
impressive array of prominent speakers,
including U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY);
Dr. Paul Teller, Special Assistant to the President
in the Office of Legislative Affairs; and
DePaul University Professor Jason D. Hill.
All Donor Society members are honored
with colored ribbons of recognition at ZOA
National events, such as at the annual Justice
Louis D. Brandeis Award Dinner and the
Capitol Hill Advocacy Mission, and at
regional galas. Also, Society members’ names
are published in the Spring edition of the
ZOA Report.
In addition to the perks from last year,
the following privileges are now included in
Donor Societies:
1. Invitations to select insider-briefing
calls. Last year these were open only to
Menachem Begin Society members and
above. They are now also open to Herzl
Society members.
2. Brandeis Society members and above
who purchase tickets to the Justice Louis
D. Brandeis Award Dinner will automatically
receive VIP tickets, and admission
to the exclusive VIP Reception at the
event.
Please see Donor Society Chart on page 56
for a complete list of incentives.
Donor Society Members in
Areas Outside Established
Regions
Even though not all of our loyal supporters
live within one of our established regions,
all of you are an essential part of the ZOA
family! In 2020, Donor Society members
can look forward to more insider briefings to
which they can access from wherever they are
located, allowing them to stay connected to
the ZOA community across the U.S.
The Donor Society program is a national
program. As a Society member, you are
invited to attend other Donor Society events
around the country, and we urge you to take
advantage of this opportunity. As we move
forward through the year, we are constantly
looking for additional ways to engage individuals
and are open to suggestions.
What You Can Do to Help
How you can help is one of the most
important sections of this report. A huge
thank you to those of you who stepped
up and hosted parlor meetings and Donor
Society events during the pilot year of this
Donor Society program. YOU truly made our
efforts possible!
For these Donor Societies to grow and
thrive, we need the help of our dedicated
community. For those of you living in our
established regions, we are always looking for
hosts for parlor meetings or Donor Society
events. Please consider volunteering your
home or office for a Donor Society reception.
If you have a circle of friends you believe
would benefit from becoming a member of
the ZOA Donor Societies, please let your
regional director know, and we will work on
bringing in one of our talented ZOA experts
to discuss ZOA’s work.
You, the ZOA community, are our best
advocates, and we are so grateful for your
efforts!
Onward and Upward
If last year was any indication of success,
you can look forward to an even bigger and
better calendar of events for 2020. We hope
you will join one of our Donor Societies, and
we hope to see you soon at our events.
