The inaugural Braves Spring Training game at
CoolToday Park was Sunday, March 24, 2019. Beginning
with 2020 Spring Training, the Braves will call the
state-of-the-art complex in West Villages - a masterplanned
community in the City of North Port - their
new Spring Training home. CoolToday Park is the result
of collaboration, cooperation and financial contributions
from the State of Florida, Sarasota County, the City of
North Port, the Atlanta Braves and Mattamy Homes,
the developer of West Villages Florida. In addition to
baseball, it will host a multitude of special events at the
facility throughout the year! Just over North Port border
in Charlotte County, is the Charlotte Sports Park. This
sports park is a perfect location for special events, corporate
functions, sports tournaments and other recreation
activities. The 82-acre park is the Spring Training Home
of the Tampa Bay Rays.

If you love getting competitive on the court, consider
registering a team in the North Port Parks & Recreation
Adult Basketball League. The co-ed program is offered in
the Fall and Spring of each year and is open to players age
16 years and older. Games are played at the Morgan Family
Community Center, located at 6207 W. Price Blvd.
Kickball League
Relive your elementary school days out on the recess field,
where kickball was king! Get your friends together and form a
team, registration for the next season will open in the Spring.
The registration fee includes an eight-week regular season
followed by single elimination playoffs.
All games are played on Sundays at the Narramore Sports
Complex, WAKA rules with local modifications. For ages 18
and up.
