Blondie, Bow Ties and Beer
This second annual benefit for the Community Dental Clinic in Clearwater was an evening of Dagwood sandwiches, craft beers,
dessert “Blondies,” live music and guests wearing bow ties. The Blondie theme, was generously carried out in the invitations by the
comic strip’s cartoonist Dean Young, who attended with his wife Charlotte. The Community Dental Clinic is a volunteer-driven,
nonprofit facility that provides basic dental care for the low income, uninsured adults of upper Pinellas County.
Kathy Milam and her husband Rowland,
who is a member of the Community Dental
Clinic’s board of directors, enjoyed the
evening of fun and friends for a good cause.

Dental Clinic, and his wife Cyndi were glad
to see that so many guests donned bow ties for
this second annual benefit.
Aleta and Fred Fisher, who are strong
supporters of the Dental Clinic, were the
honorary chairs of the benefit that took
place at the Dunedin Fine Art Center.
The Order of Salvador
Members of the prestigious Order of Salvador were summoned by cornet, as they gathered at The Dalí Museum for a Cava
Reception catered by Café Gala, which preceded the annual Ceremony of Elevation and Investiture. Tom James gave the Vistas
of The Order; Brad Morse presented the Morse Award in memory of his parents, whose collection can be seen in The Museum,
to Frank Morsani; Roger Sherman explained the Origins of The Order; and Dr. Charles Henri Hine, III, Knight and Director
proclaimed that over 30,000 people visited The Dalí during the past year, impacting the community by about $80,000.
Frank and Carol Morsani of Tampa, who
continue to do so much to improve the
Tampa Bay area, were elevated during the
Ceremony of Investiture and Elevation at
The Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg.
Brad Morse, Knight, Grand Cross and Grand
Master, Roger Sherman, Grand Cross and Grand
Chancellor Emeritus, and Tomas A. James,
Knight, Grand Collar and Grand Chancellor,
participated in the Ceremony.
Dame Beverly and Knight Carlos Yeppes
received ribboned medallions and joined in
the ascension up The Museum’s impressive
spiral stairway to designate their elevation
in The Order’s rank.
