Wearable Art XI
George Ann Bissett, president and CEO of the Dunedin Fine Art Center, welcomed sponsors to a private pre-party in one
of the Art Center’s five galleries before escorting them to the adjacent Dunedin Community Center for the eleventh annual
Wearable Art runway fashion show. The standing room only presentation of wildly over-the-top creations by designers
and artists, was emceed by HSN’s Terri Toner. Models, whose hair and make-up were by Andrew Ashton of La Posh Salon
and Salon G.W., showcased ensembles fashioned out of everything from sheet metal to balloons.
Richard and Susan Gehring, who have
been major supporters of the Dunedin Fine Art
Center since its inception, were excited to see
so many old and new faces enjoying the
gallery shows during the sponsor party.

Rick Nelson were impressed with the Dunedin
Fine Art Center’s newest additions, as well as
its “Expanding Creative Visions” plans to
provide even more much needed space.
Javier and Tina Marie Avila, owners of Casa
Tina Mexican restaurant and Pan y Vino
Brick Oven Pizza and Wine Bar in Dunedin,
enjoyed the entertainment during the
pre-show Sponsor Party.
Peter and Paula Vosotas helped sponsor
the Art Center’s popular pre and post parties
and runway show, which raised funds for its
educational programs, gallery shows and
other endeavors.
Evangelina and Rob DiSpirito, who is Dunedin’s
city manager, were impressed that people
traveled from other areas, including Miami
and California, just to see the Dunedin Fine
Art Center’s Wearable Art Show XI.
Emmanuel and Montserrat Cerf have
enlisted one of the benefit’s wearable artists
to create their “Enchanted Forest”costumes
for The Dalí Muesum’s Sueños gala, which
they are co-chairing in St. Petersburg.
