American Victory Ship
Mariners’ Memorial Museum,

SS American Victory was built in 1945.
It served in World War II, as well as the
Korean and Vietnam Wars. Aboard the
American Victory Ship, visitors can
experience a fully-functioning 1940s-era
steamship and enjoy an unforgettable

by visiting cavernous three-level cargo
holds, radio and gyro rooms, a hospital
and other parts of the ship.
