On June 14th, 2019, Nationwide and
AT&T presented the second stop of the
21st Anniversary of the LATINA Style
Business Series in Los Angeles, CA. Marking its
135th stop, the award-winning program for Latina
entrepreneurs has graduated over 36,000 Latina
business-owners. The Business Series program
agenda focuses on solving the most critical
business challenges faced by Latina entrepreneurs
as they start their business or plan for expansion.
Experts addressed topics such as: The
Essentials of a Successful Business, which was
moderated by Nury Gomez, MBA, founder and
president of Accounting Breeze. Speakers included:
Beatriz Davis, Economic Development Specialist,
SBA; Martha G Castro, SBDC Core Business
Consultant, SBDC LA; Maria Boykin, Program
Manager/Certification specialist, WBEC LA; Lisa
Hamilton, Stakeholder Liaison, IRS, and Cassandra
A. Stokes, Assistant Vice President, Wealth
Management Division, Comerica Bank.
AT&T Business Ecosystem presentation was
conducted by Steven R. Eiger, Director, AT&T
Business Marketing, and EVP Communications -
HACEMOS National. The Successful Marketing
