On July 11, Prospanica DC celebrated and honored for the second year 40 Hispanic professionals under
the age of 40 who are impacting and changing the community one day at a time during the “40 Under 40
Awards” in Washington, D.C. This program recognizes and celebrates Hispanic professionals across all
sectors of the DC metro area who have demonstrated exemplary leadership, service, and commitment to
the growth of our community.

Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA)
ALPFA continues to build upon its proud legacy with a mission: To empower and develop Latino men and
women as leaders of character for the nation, in every sector of the global economy. On August 3 to August 6,
ALPFA held it’s 2019 convention titled “Journeys… Past, Present & Future” in Nashville, TN. Thousands of
purpose-driven Latinos gathered for a week of learning, networking, and professional growth.
