is a specific focus to increase the number of Latina financial professionals and
corporate employees (both Latina and Latino) working within their organization in
order to continue growing the brand within the Latino community.
In 2018, New York Life recruited 396 Latina financial professionals 122 more
than 2017, which accounted for 44 percent of all Latino financial professional
hires. In total, Latinos hires accounted for more than 25 percent of all company
financial professional hires. In addition, approximately 92 Latinos employees were
hired into corporate roles at the company.
