LATINA Style 50 Report: Behind the Scenes
For the past 21 years LATINA Style has
evaluated hundreds of companies that
have demonstrated a commitment to
diversity and inclusion. This year, over 700
companies were surveyed to produce the 2019
LATINA Style 50 survey. We at LATINA Style
proudly recognize companies who support
programs that encourage recruiting and
retaining initiatives, continuing education and
advancement opportunities for Latinas.
The LATINA Style 50 survey is an alliance
that begins with surveys submitted by
companies in corporate America. Our
committee carefully reviews, examines and
measures each company’s programs and
completed survey submitted by their
representative. A scoring system designed by
LATINA Style, with input from our readers and
partners, is utilized to evaluate the most
important factors in the workplace. Each
survey is carefully reviewed to ensure more
opportunities for Latinas are taken into
consideration. This is followed by an extensive
public research effort that contributes to the
final evaluation.
The survey includes a portion where
companies highlight their highest-ranking
Latina in the company, the Hispanic affinity
groups, recruitment efforts, supplier diversity
programs, and more. The LATINA Style
committee gathers all survey data to accurately
score and rank the finalists. To ensure every
response is taken into consideration, the
evaluation period takes a few months. The
published chart in this issue of LATINA Style
Magazine highlights the 2019 final ranking.
LATINA Style wants to thank all of the
