Terry Marks, who recently

Arts Collaborative, has been
approved as the new chief executive
officer of the St. Petersburg Arts
Alliance. She will continue the
great work of this arts organization
started in 2012 by John Collins,
its founder and retired executive
director, who will stay on in an
advisory role through the fall.
Steve Westphal of the St. Pete
Hospitality Group of restaurants
was honored that his 400 Beach
Seafood & Tap House was
selected as a Travelers’ Choice
winner by Tripadvisor, based on
reviews, ratings and raves from
travelers everywhere, putting
400 Beach among the top 10 percent
of restaurants worldwide.
Martha Margolis and Elaine
Rubel were awarded the annual
Starr Award by the Tampa Bay
Jewish Film Festival for their efforts
and work on this year’s festival, the
organization’s 25th.
U.S. Rep. Charlie Crist is
exhibiting four portraits and three
prints in his office on loan from the
Florida Holocaust Museum of St.
Petersburg. The museum honors the
memory of millions of people who
suffered or died in the Holocaust.
It teaches the inherent worth and
dignity of the human life of all races
and cultures in order to prevent
future genocides. The four portraits

Jason Schwartz are of Holocaust
survivors Mary Wygodski, Marie
Silverman, Walter Loebenberg
and Phil Gans. The prints are by
