PARC’s Top Chefs
This second annual fundraiser for St. Petersburg’s PARC featured top restaurant chefs, including Cafe Ponte’s Will Stormant and
Guppy’s on the Beach’s Scott Bebell, who served guests outstanding gourmet fare. Each chef took a PARC student under his wing
to provide a meaningful experience into his or her chosen profession. PARC gives employment skills to students with intellectual
and developmental disabilities. The money raised supports the people PARC serves by providing them an opportunity to choose
meaningful employment training, as well as enhanced self-sufficiency.
Laurie Stogniew, who chaired the PARC
fundraiser, and her husband Lon Johnson
were proud to have this be a sold-out event.
Jenn Holloway of News Channel 8 served
as the evening’s emcee and thanked
Florida State Representative Kathleen Peters
for supporting PARC.
Ron Sacino and his wife Sherry come to the
aid of so many of our area’s worthy charitable
causes, such as PARC.
April Hill, the chair of PARC’s board of directors,
and Karen Higgins, PARC’s president and CEO,
wore aprons that were created for this event.
Sherrie Bebell and her husband,
Chef Scott Bebell of Guppy’s on the Beach in

Mac and Cheese, plus Lobster Bisque,
