Ruth Eckerd Hall’s Showcase Concert
The GRAMMY Museum®’s Music Revolution Project at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater gave a four-week crash course in
songwriting to 19 teenage students this summer as part of the educational program of the Hall’s Marcia P. Hoffman School of
the Arts. During the project, GRAMMY experts taught the students how to compose music, write lyrics and create orchestration.
The future GRAMMY contenders performed the musical material they created during an impressive Showcase Concert on
Ruth Eckerd Hall’s main stage. A reception was held prior to the performance in the Hall’s Murray Theatre for the sponsors of this
fourth annual celebration of music in America.
