Tiffins at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
This new signature restaurant is named for the Indian word “Tiffins,” which
refers to the lunch boxes that are used by travelers. The lunch and dinner menu
choices include authentic flavors from the global destinations of Europe, Africa,
Asia and the Americas. Tiffins provides an immersive dining experience in an
atmosphere that was inspired by the sketches, journals and research of Disney
“Imagineers,” who created the Animal Kingdom park originally. You can indulge in
tasty flavors from around the world with items such as Lobster-Popcorn Thai Curry
Soup, Sustainable Fish Crudo, Berbere Spiced Lamb Chops, Miso-Glazed Black Cod,
Berkshire Pork Tenderloin with Hominy Succotash and Red Mole Sauce and a Roasted
Market Vegetable Curry. The special beverage program focuses on South American
and South African wines, which can be enjoyed in one of the dining rooms or in
The Nomad, an attached lounge that serves small bites and unique alcoholic and
non-alcoholic cocktails. To make reservations, call (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463).

FarmTable Kitchen Cocktails
Since they consider the cocktail an art form, the FarmTable Kitchen at LOCALE Market in
St. Petersburg’s Sundial decided to create some cocktails that were inspired by the Horst Photograph
exhibit at the Dali Museum. The results were eight thoughtfully crafted drinks that were named
for works in the show. We began with Round the Clock, a refreshing combination of Carpano Bianco,
fresh lime and Bittermens Orchard Street Celery Shrub over crushed ice that was used to resemble
the layers of ruffles seen in this work. Another favorite of ours was the Parisian Summer of Dubonnet
Rouge, fresh watermelon lime, basil and hopped bitters. Besides being tasty, the specially created
cocktails were works of art that, no doubt, would have impressed even Dalí and Horst.
Horst: Photographs - Fashion and Surrealism is curated by the Victoria and Albert Museum, London; and for the
Dalí Museum by Joan Kropf. Works are on loan from the V&A, The Horst Estate, The Condé Nast Archive,
Richard J. Horst, The Sir Elton John Photography Collection and other private collections. 9

Ruth Eckerd Hall Reveals Plans
for Clearwater Waterfront
TThe Armed Forces History
Museum in Largo unveiled
a 10-foot-high, 900-pound
stainless steel sculpture by
artist Robert Douglas Maiden,
that represents the Symbols of
America, in celebration of the
Museum’s eighth anniversary.
Cindy Dion, the assistant
executive director of the Museum,
and John Piazza, its founder and
president, thanked Congressman
David Jolly for attending this
special occasion. Open Tuesday
through Sunday, the Museum is
located at 2050 34th Way North in
Largo, off Ulmerton Road.
Since the March 2016 referendum for the Clearwater waterfront
was passed by an overwhelming majority, Ruth Eckerd Hall has
been looking for ways to upgrade the area in accordance with the
recommendation of an extensive study commissioned by the City. The
Hall’s President and CEO Zev Buffman believes that a new pavilion
in Coachman Park would be ideal for school and community events,
themed festivals, big-name concerts and more. The Hall’s proposal
is designed to increase public use of this valuable city property,
while helping to bring economic growth to downtown Clearwater.
