ambitions and our heart. She believes
that recipes are not a simple assembly
of ingredients but a mixture that leads
to joy, smiles, positivity and happiness.
Mani came to the U.S a skilled
IT Professional with 10 years of
experience under her belt, but could
not find employment in what she
believed was the land of opportunity.
Mani explained, “The green Pastures
of the U.S were not as green without
a Green Card.” Within a year she
had settled into the environment
and culture of Charlotte. Very soon
Mani started to miss the busy life
she had as an IT Professional. She
could be a housewife, raise her kids
and be content on a Dependent Visa
or rediscover herself and create a
complete new reality. Mani chose the
latter and discovered her creative self
and Ginger-it-Up was born.
Creating the blog had everything
to do with Mani’s personality. Mani
explains that she wanted her readers
to be able to ginger it up with her
by reading her blog and trying her
recipes. What she puts on a plate is
the sum total of her life experiences.
Mani believes food is the gateway for
people to share their ideals, values and
beliefs. Apart from writing about food
and sharing recipes, she decided to
talk about life, happiness, well-being,
parenting and social-issues too. Mani
explains, “While food plays a vital role
in “jazzing-up” the boredom, we can’t
overlook other aspects of life which
share equal importance in gingeringit
up.”
Mani’s rise up the ranks has been
beyond incredible. She has been
honored as Food Blogger of the Month
in Practico Goods, top 300 Food Blogs
on Feedspot.com, Easy Recipe on
Depot.com as the 40 best food blogs of
2017 and a guest writer for Huffington
Post. In addition to the accolades,
she has received a lot of praise from
fans across the country who enjoy her
uplifting stories of women featured in
the golden frame of the “Rendezvous
Series.” The Rendezvous Series features
entrepreneurs, inspiring people, supermoms,
super-dads, and anyone who
can motivate, inspire and provide a
lead to others!
Mani is still editing the blueprint to
building her dream and growing her
brand, all while creating new recipes,
entertaining friends, taking care of
family and gingering-it-Up. She wants
to continue to provide good content to
her readers, share tips for cooking fast
meals for families, life, happiness, wellbeing,
parenting and sharing stories
about her life.
