Luckily for Marshall he found a niche as a trainer. He opened a
gym and found great joy in helping other athletes train to be the
best they could be. He started a program for kids called Baby
Kicks that became quite popular. The program helped kids with
Marshall is proud to tell you that several of his students have
gone on to do great things, like join the military. One of his original
Baby Kicks just graduated from the Marine Corps.
Marshall moved to Bradenton with his family when he was threeyears
old. He attended school at Prine Elementary, Sugg Middle,
and Manatee High, where he played baseball. He cherishes the
memories and friendships he has built here.
For the past seven years Marshall has also been active with
the Hernando De Soto Historical Society. This well-known local
charitable organization was started back in 1939, when Dr. W.D.
Sugg and others decided to promote the 500th Anniversary of De
