reflect not only on yourself, but on the Hunt.
Hunt Staff and Gentlemen Members with colors
Scarlet coat with royal blue collar and brass buttons engraved WHH, white stock, canary vest
with engraved brass buttons, white breeches, black boots with mahogany tops, navy blue/
black hard cap.
Lady Members with colors
Black or dark grey coat with royal blue collar with black buttons engraved WHH, white stock,
canary vest with engraved brass buttons, buff or canary breeches, black boots with patent
leather tops, black hard derby or black/navy blue hunt cap or helmet with harness.
WEARING THE HUNT’S COLORS
The wearing of the Hunt’s colors on one’s collar is a privilege that is awarded, at the discretion
of the Masters, to members of the Hunt who have proven themselves, not only in the hunt
field, but also by devoting their efforts to the success of the Hunt by paneling, roading hounds,
and working at our horse shows and on other projects undertaken by the Hunt.
Informal Hunting
Members without colors, Junior Members and Guests
Black or very dark coat, white stock, canary vest, buff or canary breeches, black boots (not
field boots), black hunt cap or helmet with harness.
Wednesdays and Saturdays during Cubbing
Riding jacket, shirt with a choker or stock tie in muted colors or traditional rat catcher, brown
or black field boots, and brown or black helmet with a harness is required.

Horses should be well-groomed. White, hunt-style saddle pads are appropriate. Every year
before hunting, a release of liability and possession of a current negative Coggins test must
be signed and given to the Honorary Secretary. Anyone wishing to hunt may contact the Masters
