“I love it here,” she said of her job, and the bonds she has made
Without missing a beat, Campellone jumped in: “Then we’d go,
too.” The other regulars feel the same. “I get super excited when I
see Katie opening,” said Lindemann, “She’s fun to talk to.”
Frank Coon, 74, who not only comes to Peach’s at 6 am daily, but
sometimes comes back with his wife for lunch, said, “I love Katie.
She’s phenomenal.”
Coon, a retired real estate appraiser and “morning person,” has
been a Peach’s regular for 15 years.
“The food is very, very good,” said Coon, who often orders
poached eggs with a side of toast, strawberries and bananas,
“I enjoy the people, the good conversations, the employees,” he
said. “If they opened at 5 am or even 4 am, I’d be here.”
