Congratulations to the Nixa High School journalism program for
winning the Silver Medalist award from the Columbia Scholastic
Press Association for the 2019 yearbook!
Among the judge's comments about the 2019 Eagle yearbook,
"Please congratulate yourselves on packing a lot of information on
these pages- I can tell you've taken time to talk to as many students
as possible and are filling caption mini-stories to get that coverage
in."

The 2019-2020 Inman Intermediate 6th Grade
Select Choir has been selected to preform at the
82nd Annual Missouri Music Educators Association
Confrence in January. Inman was one of three
Elementary choirs from the entire state of Missouri
to be selected.

Nixa Principal Recieves
Award
Cheryl Huson was awarded the Youth Mental
Health Advocate of the Year award from Burrell
Behavioral Health. She is the first person to ever
receive this award.

NURSE
Teresa Grigg has been a nurse
with Nixa Schools since 2015. She
has been a nurse for over 24
years and has her bachelor's
from Arkansas State University.
Congratulations to Teresa Grigg,
she is a key component to the
safety and care of the kids at
Nixa.
