A Letter from Dr. Loden...
Believe or not, winter break is almost here. I have to say, getting to experience all four seasons in
the Ozarks has been enjoyable. I’ve also learned that, at times, you can experience all four of them
in the same week. We have had an awesome first semester, and the time has flown by so quickly.
I want to express thanks to our outstanding administrators, teachers, and
staff members who directly take care of our students. Our faculty and staff
put student safety first and dedicate their hearts and actions to expanding
opportunities for growth and learning for all. I witness the quality of
instruction, the commitment to students first, and the focus on equity at every
campus as I walk through classrooms. I hear it in the expressions of gratitude
when I visit with parents, grandparents, and Nixa community members. I truly
believe that we have the best group of educators in the state and that is cause
for celebration. Most importantly, I want to acknowledge our students. I am
proud to see their growth and achievements under the care and support of
our teachers and staff. I have experienced amazing oral presentations,
seasonal choral and instrumental performances, a theatre performance,
academic competitions, athletic events, and so much more. Nixa students
continue to shine brightly. While student achievement and perseverance
continue to make us proud, even more lasting are the triumphs and challenges
that students share with one another.
As we celebrate the holiday season, I encourage you to reflect on the things
and people who are truly important in your lives. It’s important for all of us to
step back and put things into perspective and appreciate our blessings. It is in
togetherness that we continue to make the greatest impact. What we find to
share and celebrate with one another is perhaps the greatest gift to be given
or received this season. Thank you for your commitment to our students.
My wife Monica and I wish you and your family a joyous and special holiday
season with plenty of time to relax and enjoy family and friendships. Safe
travels and warm blessings to each and every one of you.
We’ll see you in 2020!
Warm Regards,
Dr. Loden
