Caladesi Island Adventure,
This boat departs from the Honeymoon
Island Recreation Area at the west end
of the Dunedin Causeway, State Road
586, (727) 734-5263. Here you can enjoy 3
miles of uncrowded white sandy beach
with good shelling, tree-shaded picnic
areas, a 3-mile nature trail and many
other amenities.Escorted island tours are
available. The boat departs every half
hour beginning at 10 a.m. (seasonally
adjusted).
The Florida Aquarium,
701 Channelside Drive, Tampa,
(813) 273-4000. The aquarium
experience open daily is designed to
take you on a journey, starting with a
drop of water from one of Florida’s
many freshwater springs to the open
waters of the Florida Keys. Sights include
a simulated wetlands environment
under a tall glass atrium, shallow bays
and beaches, and a coral reef ecosystem
encompassed in half a million gallons of
natural seawater.
Sunken Gardens,

garden features cascading waterfalls,
flowing ponds, lush tropical displays and
exotic birds.

talented teams at the popular Clear Sky
Beachside Cafe on Clearwater Beach and
Clear Sky Draught Haus in Dunedin
have been catering for charity, business

inceptions. Their chefs have the experience
and skills to orchestrate anything from
simple cookouts on the grill to formal
sit-down dinners with Asian, Caribbean,
Mediterranean, Continental, All American

Clearwater Bagels,

Morris has been boiling and baking
gourmet bagels in the traditional New
York way at Clearwater Bagels. The shop

Cotee River Brewing Company,

Richey’s only brewery produces its
own locally crafted brews, including its
signature beer, Market Fresh Wheat, a mix
of light wheat with citrus herbal tea. There
are 18 beers on tap, two sparkling iced teas
on tap from the White Heron Tea Room,
locally crafted wine from Land O’ Lakes
Winery, and ciders from other area
breweries. You can order something to
eat from one of the many local downtown
restaurants and have it delivered to your
table. Live entertainment is available on
weekends.

created a dark, densely delicious, glutenfree
chocolate cake that is available for
shipping, as well as at select local retail

The Scone Age Bakery & Cafe,

bakery and cafe, located in a charming
vintage cottage on the Pinellas Trail, is
known for its homemade, fresh, organic,
natural, made from scratch baked goods,

and sconewiches. Eat-in trailside, or take

A 1914 scene design for the king’s bedroom
in Act III of Le Rossignol, created by Alexandre
Benois, is part of the “Art of the Stage” exhibit
on display through May 10 at the Museum of
Fine Arts, St. Petersburg.
