Midnight in Paris at The Dalí
The Dalí Museum held a gala dinner to celebrate its special exhibit, “Midnight in Paris: Surrealism at the Crossroads, 1929,” which
is on display through April 9th for its first and only North American appearance. The exhibit is a fascinating look at the surrealistic
movement in Paris at a time when Paris was the creative center of the world. The evening’s wine-paired dinner featured a chilled
Tuna Niçoise Soup, Steak au Poivre with black truffle crumble and a trio of desserts by Chuck Bandel, the chef at the museum’s
Café Gala. Steve and Nancy Westphal, Café Gala’s owners, provided the dinner as a gift.
