Nine public pools give St. Pete
residents plenty of options to cool
off during hot summer months.
The pools offer wading pools,
diving boards and giant ��ume
slides for extra fun.
The North Shore Aquatic
Complex, which is located on
the downtown waterfront, offers
��rst-class swimming facilities. The
50-meter temperature-regulated
pool is open year-round and offers
a variety of options, including
training pool with zero-depth
entry, play pool with giant ��ume
slide and splash pad. North Shore
also hosts a master swim program
and is the home base and training
pool for several local Olympic
champion swimmers.
Local hotels also offer swimming
opportunities, as well as
extremely popular sunset pool
parties with “dive-in” movies on
special occasions.
