St. Petersburg College, previously
a junior college, now offers both
associates and bachelor’s degree,
as well as certicate programs and
continuing education. Academic
strengths include business, information
technology, education,
health sciences, nursing, paralegal
studies, public safety and veterinary
technology. The college has
10 branch locations, including
downtown St. Pete and Midtown.
The Health Education Center offers
programs in dental hygiene,
emergency medical services,
funeral services, nursing, physical
therapist assistant and radiography,
