Florida College of Marine Science
has an international reputation
for its outstanding graduate level
program and research in ocean
science. The college has notable
expertise in a number of marinerelated
areas, including sustainable
��sheries, red tide, coral reef
health, sea level rise and coasting
��ooding. The R/V Weatherbird II,
the ��agship of the Florida Institute
of Oceanography, is based at the
marine college.
