On February 10,
2020, Imhotep George scored
50 points in the Trojans’ game against the Butler
County Community College Pioneers. Final score was
125-93 with the Trojans taking the win.
In a swish of the hoop, George broke Tim
Scalletta’s record of 47 points which occurred on
December 2, 1967 in a game against the Potomac
State College Catamounts. Imhotep shot 20 of 31
from the floor and was 5 for 7 from the free throw line.
He grabbed 20 rebounds to record a double-double.
George, a General Studies major from Laurel,
Maryland, is a 2018 graduate of Meade High School.
