AQUARIUM
Jenkinson’s Aquarium always has a new adventure in store for explorers
and animal enthusiasts of all ages. Since opening its doors in 1991,
Jenkinson’s Aquarium dedicates itself to the education, conservation
and superior care of its diverse collection of animals from their South
African penguins, to their completely expanded and renovated Harbor
Seal exhibit and the new Pine Barrens exhibit. Other attractions, such as
the touch tank, allow visitors to get up close and personal to live animals.
Our staff is always on hand to answer questions and offer new insights.
The aquarium is open all year long, closing only on Thanksgiving and
Christmas. For more information about the aquarium, educational

Celebrating its 90th Anniversary in 2018, Jenkinson’s Boardwalk is known as the jewel of the Jersey Shore.
There is so much to do, it’s no wonder they have been generating smiles for generations! Year-round, you
can visit the Aquarium, arcades, enjoy classic boardwalk fare in the pavilion and sweet shop, even host a
birthday party or fun group outing. In the summer season, add rides and miniature golf for extra fun in the
sun. If you’re looking for a slower-paced day, relax on our sandy beach or visit Jenks Inlet Bar while listening
to the calming sounds of the Atlantic Ocean. Jenkinson’s beach is open daily, weather permitting, from
the weekend before Memorial Day through the weekend after Labor Day. Lifeguards are on duty when the
beach is open, and beach badges can be purchased on a full-season, half-season or daily basis.
