getaway? A day trip? If you haven’t vacationed in Seaside Heights
lately, there’s a lot you have missed!
The Classic American Boardwalk in Seaside

added amusement rides, an upgraded waterpark,
two new miniature golf courses, restaurants and
bars, trendy clothing and jewelry boutiques, frozen
custard and soft-serve ice cream shops, and candy
stores to satisfy your taffy and chocolate cravings.
A walk down the Boardwalk Promenade delivers
panoramas that are iconic and awe-inspiring.
Walk across one of the handicap-accessible dune
crossovers and you will find a relaxing stretch
of sugar-white sand with plenty of room for your
beach chair and umbrella. Lifeguards are on
duty between Memorial Day weekend and mid-
September. The beach is perfect for scavengers
searching for shells, sea glass, driftwood and other
natural treasures. No wonder Seaside Heights
Beach was voted Ocean County’s Favorite Beach
in 2016 and 2017!
If you prefer a less bustling place to stake your
beach umbrella, the mood at Sunset Beach located
at the North Bayfront may be what you’re looking
for. Sunset Beach offers a shallow swimming
beach for young children, food concession, public
restrooms, a nautical-themed playground and free
parking! You can watch recreational boats navigate
through the channel in the Seaside Heights Harbor,
and if you bring binoculars you may be able to
spot egrets and herons on the Sedge Island just
across the bay.
