A Tasteful
Holiday Gift
The colorful 224-page cookbook, which
marks the MFA’s 50th anniversary, was
inspired by Gourmet Gallery, the Stuart
Society’s cookbook that celebrated the
Museum’s 10th anniversary in 1975.
Food + Art was co-chaired by Elise Minkoff
and well-known cookbook author Toni
Lydecker. It features 116 diverse recipes,
many shared by Tampa Bay chefs, including
food, drinks and stylish entertaining,
as well as striking photographs of the
Museum, its art treasures and the food.
The cookbook truly reflects the Museum
director Kent Lydecker’s statement in
the foreword that, “Food and the arts are
natural partners.”
Food + Art is available at The Museum
Store of the MFA in St. Petersburg, as
well as the Tampa Museum of Art and
the Oxford Exchange in Tampa, or by
