Eckerd’s Jingle Jangle Jam
Eckerd, “The first name in second chances” charity for abused, neglected and at-risk children and families, held its eighth annual
“Jingle Jangle Jam” at the Tampa Airport Marriott. The evening’s silent auction and dinner were followed by an inspirational talk
by Chef Jeff Henderson of television’s The Chef Jeff Project and Family Style with Chef Jeff, as well as entertainment by Eckerd’s “Heart
of the Heroes” youths. Eckerd, which was founded by the late Ruth and Jack Eckerd, is committed to providing every child with
the opportunity to succeed. Eckerd’s President and CEO David Dennis thanked supporters for helping to provide second chances
to the 20,000 children and families that Eckerd will serve this year.
Kim Ferrara and her husband Ray, the past
Eckerd board chair and the honorary chair of
the event’s Advisory Council, hosted a table
and helped sponsor the benefit through his
ProVise Management Group.
Nancy Eckerd Nichols, a sponsor and the charity’s
board chair, and her sister Terrell Eckerd Clark,
who helped sponsor the benefit with her husband,
board member Joe Clark, were proud that their
niece Jessica Swann Ward served on the benefit’s
Advisory Council.
Tampa Bay area radio and television
personality Roxanne Wilder, who again
served as the evening’s emcee, attended
the fundraiser with her newly announced
fiancé, real estate investor Douglas Biro.

The Dalí Guild’s Blue Zodiac Party
The Dalí Guild members, who are known for their “fun”raisers to support the Salvador Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, celebrated
the holidays with a Blue Zodiac themed party at the Museum. Mary Ann Morse welcomed the blue attired guests and introduced
the evening’s committee. Linda Pugliese created an etherial blue setting with appropriately colored lights and tulle-draped
Christmas trees. Nata Cibran selected the buffet menu and created the benefit’s signature Blue Zodiac Martinis. Linda and Nata
also introduced guests through their Zodiac signs.
Brad Morse, whose parents provided the
Dalí Museum’s major collection, and his wife
Mary Ann, the president of the Dalí Guild,
enjoyed the blue-themed festivities.
Emmanuel and Montserrat Cerf, who
continually help the Dalí Guild support the
Dalí Museum, enjoyed the evening’s music,
buffet dinner and camaraderie.
Najla and Kamal Majeed, who support
St. Petersburg’s many charitable events,
especially enjoyed the “Blue Zodiac Martinis”
at the Dalí Guild’s benefit.
