Custom-built cabinets and shelving provide
organizational and storage options for both workrelated
and personal items such as certificates,
reference materials, trophies and treasures.
Additionally, we have to account for computers,
printers, office supplies, telephones, modems and
cables. Ergonomic desks designed with lower
cabinets and drawers can help maintain organization
by hiding away files and folders, power cords and
accessories.
An obvious benefit of the home office is having an
area of the home where a multitude of projects can
be completed and saved. Most home offices are set
up and decorated for the individual who will use
them. Personal treasures help motivate and inspire,
while at the same time they create a comfortable
working environment. For many people, working
from home has become the norm, and although
most home offices are designed primarily for general
purposes, some are specifically laid out to allow for
a hobby or other interests. A wonderful thing about
a home office is that you can make it anything you
want it to be. 9
