Dunedin Historical Museum Gala
For its inaugural fundraiser of “Cocktails from Another Era,” the Dunedin Historical Museum invited guests to visit the 1960s
days of Camelot and Woodstock. Dressed in the fashions of that memorable decade, attendees were smooth and in the groove for
this evening benefit of vintage-themed music, cars, food and cocktails.

Point of Light Awards
The Lighthouse of Pinellas held its 10th Annual Point of Light Awards luncheon at the Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park. The
Lighthouse’s mission is to advance the independence and quality of life for individuals in Pinellas County who are blind or visually
impaired. Since 1956, The Lighthouse has been providing comprehensive vision rehabilitation services for individuals of all ages.
Former news anchor John Wilson was
thanked by Michael Kline, the husband
of the event’s chair Joan Kline, for serving
as The Lighthouse of Pinellas program’s
master of ceremonies.
Dr. Louis Michaelos and his wife Mary
were honored that Michael received the
Lighthouse’s Beacon of Light Award in
recognition of the many years of dedication
to his Opthalmologic patients and other
civic, medical and religious organizations.
Dr. Ronald Tucker, who was given the Volunteer Award
for his services to the Lighthouse and the community,
was proud to have his daughters Allison and Amanda
and his wife Sarah with him.

Museum board member and a member
of the Gala committee, were attired as
James Bond and First Lady Jackie Kennedy.
Linda Boosinger and Rika Freeman, both of whom are
Museum board members who served on the
Gala committee, were “groovy” in their ‘60s’ outfits.
