Suncoast Performing Arts Foundation Gala
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Largo Cultural Center, the Suncoast Performing Arts Foundation held a Gala dinner
dance at the Center. The emcees were John and Mary K. Wilson. The major announcement at the event was that the Center
has changed its name to the Central Park Performing Arts Center to better reflect what it has become over the past 20 years.
George and Kim Feaster and Mayor Woody Brown and his wife Jenny were the Gala’s honorary chairs, and Betsy Byrd and
Judy Hall were its co-chairs.
Rocco Morabito, “hairstylist to the stars,”
congratulated Gala co-chair Betsy Byrd,
owner of Safety Harbor’s The Stuffed
Mushroom, which catered the dinner.
