one of the top teams in Europe and should give the DPi
teams a tough challenge.
The JDC-Miller Motorsports team brings a pair of Oreca
prototypes. The No. 85 will be driven by Simon Trummer,
Robert Alon and Nelson Panciatici. The No. 99 will feature
Stephen Simpson, Chris Miller and Misha Goikhberg at the
wheel. Both cars were very competitive at Daytona and
should be in the battle for a podium spot here at Sebring.
Performance Tech Motorsports will have the No. 38 Oreca
on the grid for drivers James French, Pato O’Ward and Kyle
Masson. After dominating the IMSA Prototype Challenge
class in recent years, the team moves to the top category
and has already shown it will be a leading contender.
CORE Autosport has taken the jump from the GTD category
to prototypes with their No. 54 Oreca. Jonathan Bennett,
Colin Braun and Romain Dumas will pilot the car for
another team that is a graduate of the Prototype Challenge
category.
AFS/PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports has entered their No. 52
Ligier LMP2 with the top notch driving trio of Sebastian
Saavedra, Gustavo Yacaman and Roberto Gonzalez. A podium
fi nish is very realistic for this squad.
