to take a walk down memory lane with the fans and highlight

However, the new stars and cars in the ultra-competitive
GS class aren’t the only additions fans will
see during the Continental Tire Challenge race.
Racing fans across North America are now able to
see the fi rst ever, full-time incorporation of the TCR
class in a North American sports car series. As a global
platform, TCR allows manufacturers from around
the world to fi eld their four- or fi ve-door race cars
in the Continental Tire Challenge and has garnered
numerous accolades for its participation in IMSA.
While most teams have chosen to the Audi RS3 LMS,
Volkswagen competed in the series opener with its
Golf GTI and Alfa Romeo tested with the series back
in December. At the BMW Endurance Challenge at Daytona,
taking the fi rst ever TCR victory was one entry of Compass
Racing’s three-car effort, with Tom Long and Britt
Casey, Jr. behind the wheel.
Lastly, the ST class also returns to Sebring with BMW,
MINI and Porsche battling for the victory. Last year’s win
went to Spencer Pumpelly and Nick Galante with RS1 in
a Porsche Cayman. While Pumpelly jumped up to RS1’s
BimmerWorld Racing and helped deliver the fi rst ST
with co-driver Devin Jones.
