Adoption Assistance
Financial assistance for qualified adoption
expenses
Team Members who:
• Have completed one year of service
• Are currently working at least 30 hours per week
• Have worked for 12 months prior to application
• Adoptee must be under age of 18
• Adoptee may not be a child of a spouse
• Benefits are taxable and subject to IRS guidelines
• Licensed adoption agency fees
• Legal costs
• State-required “pre-placement home study” and
“post-placement supervision” programs
• Charges for temporary foster care before
placement
• Reasonable and customary charges for
transportation by public conveyance to obtain
physical custody of the adoptive child
