for an enjoyable excursion
with family or friends,
allowing passengers to disembark at either downtown terminal
to spend a few hours at a restaurant or museum. Consider this
transportation option when attending concerts or sporting
events, too!
Boarding takes place in St. Petersburg in the Vinoy Yacht Basin
on Bayshore Drive NE ( just north of the Museum of Fine Arts
and just south of the Vinoy Hotel) and behind the Florida
Aquarium in Tampa’s Channelside District. (All guests must be
ticketed and ready for loading 20 minutes prior to departure.)
Ferry customers can make use of one of two nearby parking
garages in St. Pete -- the Sundial Garage is three blocks away
and the South Core Garage is
Terminal. All customers who
purchase a ticket for the Cross-
Bay Ferry and who park in
the Sundial Garage can request
a parking pass which can be
used for free parking.
The Tampa terminal is located
behind The Florida Aquarium,
next to the Victory Ship. There

The six-month ferry is an alternative transportation initiative
that comes through a funding collaboration of Pinellas and
Hillsborough counties, and the cities of St. Petersburg and
Tampa. Not considered a commuter ferry, the Cross-Bay Ferry
across the Bay. Fares are $8 one way; $5 for seniors, military
and college students; $3 for ages 5-18; children under 4 are free.
