Walentine wants books to be accessible and available to everyone.
One way she does that is through her Downtown Delivery service.
Readers can request books be hand-delivered to them at any
selection is out of stock, she will look for it and let you know when
it’s ready.
“We want to surprise customers with books they didn’t know
about,” said Walentine. “We want to curate a selection of books
that turn heads and have people go ‘oh my gosh, I didn’t know that
existed’.”
