Bright Futures scholars assist
elementary-aged children with
homework and reading. Call to
reserve a 30-minute session up to one
week in advance. Walk-ins will be
accommodated on a space-available
basis and may be limited to 20
minutes.

Signing Time for Babies & Toddlers
Ms. Cathee from the Deaf Literacy
Center will teach you how to sign with
your child. These interactive signing
classes will teach how to include signs
naturally while interacting with your
child through daily routines, playtime,
storytime and music.

Makin' Ukulele Music: Kids Strum
& Sing
Led by members of the Tampa Bay
Ukulele Society, attendees will play
songs previously learned and also play
easy songs using two to four chords.
Review the chords C, Am, F and G7.
Bring a ukulele if you have one. There
will be a limited number of ukuleles
on loan for the event. Parents are
encouraged to join in, play along or
sing along.
