Song Law, Waynesville
About my business: Song Law was established in 2008. My firm has represented
hundreds, if not thousands of people across WNC in family law, criminal law, and
civil litigation cases.
You’d never know this about me but: My parents got me a piano and I began
playing classical music starting at the age of 4. For them, it was an opportunity
they never had. So I practiced many hours daily for the majority of my adolescent
years. I was even a piano performance major for a brief period of time at UNC
Chapel Hill. Sure, the adrenaline rush of playing in front of hundreds of people felt
great, but I never loved playing. So I quit. But unbeknownst to me at that time,
piano has taught me valuable skills which I now use on a daily basis. For example, it
taught me how to concentrate, how to be in the moment, how to be more patient,
and it helped me develop speech and cognitive skills. For those reasons and more,
I recently introduced my children to the piano. They both love it and they are
doing great.
Why I love doing business here in Haywood County: Its home to me!
I was born and raised in Beijing, China. I moved to NC when I was 9 years old and I
have lived in this state for the past 30 years. Lucky for me, I get to live, play and grow
my business here in Haywood County.
