University of North
Georgia – Blue Ridge
UNG is part of the University System
of Georgia and offers more than
100 programs of study across five
Georgia campuses. Focusing on
academic excellence, the college
develops students into leaders prepared
for a diverse and global society.
The Blue Ridge campus, which
opened in the fall of 2015, offers a
full-time program for first-time
freshmen, dual-enrollment partnerships
with area high schools, and
new career opportunities and personal
enrichment for returning adults.
This year, a new standalone
campus will open to serve an estimated
175 students. Conveniently
located off GA Highway 515, the new
campus will expand the availability
of a world-class college education
for North Georgia residents. Added
programs will provide opportunities
for students to complete specific
degree paths with access to a science
lab and computer lab. Plans
include outdoor space for students
to gather and study.
