Campers will participate in structured
activities, daily swimming, games, arts
and crafts and sports.
Participants must be registered in the
C.O.S.T. program to attend.

Seniors
Ross Norton is now offering program
opportunities for active adults to make
friends, stay on the move and learn new
things. Individuals ages 55 and older
may take advantage of classes, health
and wellness programs, computer and
Internet access, games, arts and crafts
classes and opportunities to socialize
with others to stay connected with the
community.
Evidence-Based Programs
Ross Norton is pleased to host
evidence-based programs that offer
proven ways through defined research
to promote wellness and to manage or
reduce health concerns and/or falls.
Class size is limited.

A Matter of Balance
This evidence-based, Boston University
program helps to manage falls and
increase activity levels. The program
consists of eight, two-hour sessions
to include lecture from certified
instructors, group discussion and
exercises. Participants must be age 60
or older. Participants will learn to:
• View falls as controllable
• Set goals for increasing activity
• Make changes to reduce fall risks at
home
• Exercise to increase strength and
balance
• Pre-registration is required
Iron Sharpens Iron Mentor Program
The goal and mission is to improve
the academic achievement, self-esteem,
social competence, and avoidance
of problem / high-risk behavior by
providing a relationship with a caring
adult friend who works to help youth
achieve their potential.
