years of service She is an active and supportive member of
Christ Baptist Church in Whitehaven, under the leadership
of Dr. Uliasea Little, Jr. She is active in the teaching
ministry of the church and serves as a Sunday School
Teacher for children. She also devotes her time to the Youth
Ministry and serving as a Pastoral Aide. She has a gift of
leadership and enjoys serving. She is the head of the
Kitchen Committee. She directs the catering and meal
planning for all events held at the Church. She also
provides supervision to any outside catered events held at
the Church Miss Bobbie Jean loves to read, fish, and cook.
But with her full life, she considers it an honor to be a
caretaker for her 102-year-old mother. She loves and cares
for her deeply. She has a gift of showing love and compassion
to all. She is an amazing woman and an integral part of
ChrisBaptist Church. And although she is a pastoral aide,
she reaches out to help anyone. She is a gifted caretaker…a
caretaker of the grounds, a caretaker of the family, the
caretaker of the church, a caretaker of nourishment for
our bodies and spirits.

city. She was the host of a local gospel cable
television show. Delsa still conducts music
workshops for churches in the Mid-Southarea.
She is a member of the National Gospel Music
of American Announcers Guild.
