HONORED WITH NATIONAL AWARD
& ACCREDITATION
Several Hamilton EMS associates received 2018 Northwest Georgia EMS/Region 1 awards for going above and
beyond the call of duty in patient care and contributing to the enhancement of emergency medical care. Chris Downey
(paramedic), Danny Hall Memorial Medic of the Year; Scott Radeker (director), Dr. James H. Creel, Jr. Emergency
Medical Services Pioneer Award; Aaron Gaddis (paramedic), Chris Cline (paramedic)
and Lee Duman (captain), David Loftin Pediatric Call of the Year.
Hamilton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is the
only ambulance service in the Northwest Georgia and
Chattanooga area to be accredited by the Commission on
Accreditation of Ambulance Services, a national designation
of excellence.
Hamilton EMS recently received the American Heart
Association’s Mission: Lifeline® EMS Silver Award. This
national award recognizes Hamilton EMS for rapidly
identifying potential heart attack patients and effectively
collaborating with Hamilton Medical Center’s accredited
Chest P ain Center while en route to the hospital.
