Muscle Car City is the result of a car collection that began in 1965, when Treworgy got his
license and bought his fi rst car. Other than selling one car to fund his marriage ceremony and
one to start a business, there are few cars that he has owned that aren’t still in his possession.
As a young boy Treworgy had access to car parts through his father’s business, and he
started making money on the side fi xing small things on cars for friends and neighbors. His
automotive knowledge grew as the years wore on, and eventually he was able to restore just
about any car.
Rick has his own mechanics now. If you’ve got a special ride that you’ve been working on
and need a little assistance, you can visit Muscle Car Rod & Performance Shop right at the
museum and let them look at your pride and joy. They also carry a very large line of hot rod,
muscle car and other parts – some every day parts and some that will specifi cally improve your
car’s speed in the straightaway.
