This old Chesapeake dinghy
was in for repairs when
Robert painted it.
Artist Robert Simone
His next step was to attend workshops
being given by nationally known artists,
such as Christopher Still, Anthony Ryder,
Clayton Beck II, Mary Erickson, Scott
Christensen and Stapleton Kearns. He
found that each of these individuals
added to his artistic development, giving
him the arts education he had sought
for so long.
As with most artists, Robert’s work
continues to evolve; accordingly, so has
his reputation. His works are in a variety
of private and corporate collections. He
is a member of the faculty at the Suntan
Art Center on St. Pete Beach, where he
enjoys teaching workshops and classes
to others who aspire to learn what he has
discovered, as well as his techniques for
representing the beauty around them
with their art.
