The Chiselers Fashion Show
The Chiselers and the Henry B. Plant Museum Society held a fashion show and luncheon in Tampa to benefit the preservation
of the 1891 Tampa Bay Hotel, which is a National Historic Landmark. Over 500 women (and at least 10 men) attended this
spectacular presentation. Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn gave the welcoming remarks.
Miriam Lykes and Lavina Branch, the co-chairs
of the luncheon, helped set the high standard for
fashion that was evident among the audience
members.
Attorney Peter Zinober and his wife Cynthia
Gandee-Zinober, the executive director of the
Henry B. Plant Museum at the University of Tampa,
appreciated the efforts that were made to benefit
the Museum.
Betty Wood, who was one of the event’s advisors,
and her tablemate Joan Steinbrenner were among
the stylish women in attendance.
