Florida Hospital’s Starlight Gala
“An Evening in New Delhi” was the theme of Florida Hospital’s Starlight Gala to benefit its Foundation. It was held at
Amalie Arena in Tampa, where guests were greeted by an Indian elephant. Singer, songwriter and actor Josh Groban
entertained; and guests dined on Indian-style food. The Florida Hospital Foundation, under the leadership of its executive
director John Negley, helps to ensure that patients have access to the best possible medical care.
Steve and Julie Weintraub of the Gold and Diamond
Source in Clearwater generously contributed to
this event, as they do to so many others.
Lila and Roger Kumar were in-kind sponsors of
the Gala, who aided in developing the Indian
theme of the benefit.
Judy Genshaft, the president of USF, and her
husband Steve Greenbaum, enjoyed this Indianthemed
evening that featured a performance by
Josh Groban.
Former Tampa Mayor Dick Greco and his wife
Dr. Linda McClintock dressed in Indian attire
in keeping with the evening’s theme.
Amanda Villanova and her husband Donnie congratulated
Amanda’s mother Marilyn McPhail, the chair of the event,
on another successful Gala.
Gwendy Adams was proud of her husband
Brian, the president and CEO of Florida
Hospital Tampa, who welcomed guests from
the stage.
